About:China Visa Application in USA

Pracha (USA): What kind of visa entry should I apply?

10/11/12-10/14/12: visit a friend in Hongkong
10/21/12-11/02/12: Tour CAN and PEK.

You are not required visa to HK, so if you will entry China mainland only one time, a single entry tourist visa is enough.
