About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

US citizens in S. Korea seeking travel visa for 1 week trip

My husband, children and I would like to visit Beijing for a week during our holiday. What process should we go through to apply for visas? How long will it take to apply for & receive the visas? Thank you!

You may just apply for the visa from the local China embassy or consulate with the required documents (pasport, vis aapplication form, round-way air ticket, hotel booking, etc) in person or through a travel/visa agent. The process normally takes 4 working days.

By the way, if you are not living or working in South Korea, I'm not sure whether you can get a China visa there. Anyway, you can have a try.

We do live and work in S Korea. We are on a visa here to do so. That should make the Chinese travel visa possible from here, correct?
