shanghai - zhouzhuang - suzhou

Question

We intend to travel from Shanghai around noon time to Zhouzhuang water town and go to Suzhou late evening the same day. Is is feasible? l like to know the mode of transport available, the fare and duration. What is the last bus or other mode of transport from Zhouzhuang to Suzhou? We will be staying overnight in Suzhou.

From Shanghai to Zhouzhuang, you may take bus at Shanghai Long Distance Central Bus Station(north square of Shanghai railway station). It takes about 2 hours and costs around CNY30. The buses from Zhouzhuang to Suzhou run every 1 hour at Zhouzhuang Bus Station. The whole journey takes around more than one hour and the bus fare is about CNY20.
