About:China Customs Declaration

Enquiries on custom laws about Archery equipments.

I am going to at Zhejiang University and I would like to bring my archery equpiments over. What is China's customs laws regarding archery equipment? Is there an archery range there as I check a few are all meant for kids or are closed.
Would it be possible to shoot the bow in an open field that is unused or must there be a permit?

According to the regulations, if weapon or sports equipment archery is dengerous or has the potential danger, it is not allowed to be taken into China. Therefore, I think you might not be able to take it in.
Of course, the archery equipment should be plyed in an open air in case doing harm to a pass-by person.

Thanks Ben as I saw quite a few other forums that say archery equipment is considered sporting good not a weapon and can be purchased there so is not a problem but better safe than sorry.
