I am flying from Beijing to Chengdu then spend one night in Chengdu before flying to Jiuzaigou. I checked out weather.com. Seems rain, thunderstorm and showers are forecast for the whole of next week Aug 27-31

Hi, actually I don't think so. According to the weather forecast, it would be hot then. The highest temperature even reaches to about 29-30 C. And it seems that no rain will happen. Anyway, the weather of Jiuzhaigou is changable, so you'd better take along with the rainy coat in case of the sudden rain, besides the short-sleeved shirt and a light coat.
