What is single/double entry visa?

What is single/double entry visa? Planning to visit few provinces only in China by flight and by rail, so what type of visa should I apply? Thank you. Rosalind

If you will travel between provinces within mainland China, a single entry visa is enough. Double entry means that you can use it to enter China mainland twice within its validity.
