Actually, it was constructed during a long time. The original construction can date back to the Western Zhou Dynasty (11th century BC - 771 BC). Then during the Period of the Warring States (476 BC - 221 BC), the Qin Dynasty (221 - 206 BC), the Ming Dynasty and other dynasties, the wall was constructed. Among them, the best preserved today was built in the Ming Dynasty.
