About:Buy Tickets

Kunming to Dongchuan to Yuanyang

We will be travelling in a group of 5, please advise how we should get from Kunming to Dongchuan, also accomodation there or shd we just do a day trip and then to Yuanyang. If we take the night bus, is it a sleeper bus?

You can go to the Kunming North Bus Station to take the bus for Dongchuan and about three hours, you will reach Dongchuan. Dongchuan and Yuanyang are in opposite directions, so you need to take the bus to Yuanyang from Kunming.
So I think you can visit Dongchuan in one day and back to Kunming on the same day and then you live in Kunming for a night. On the next day, you can take the bus for Yuanyang.

Thank you Lucy for your info, we will be in Dongchuan mid Sept, anything to see or shd we give it a missed? Also if its a one day trip, do you think its best we hire a van to/fro Dongchuan?
