Where should I stay: Tunxi or Tangkou?

My wife and I plan to spend about 3 days in Huangshan (27/9-30/9). We plan to visit the mountain (2/3) and then some areas around(1/3).

Please advise where we should stay: at Tunxi or in Tangkou? Do both places have some activities at night like night market or music bars?
