About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

hi me and my Chinese gf want to get married in china

how could i stay in china with her. i read u can keep applying for a visa every year but not sure if that is true.

Yes, it is true. You can enter China with a single entry tourist visa. After marriage registration in China, you can extend your tourist L visa into a family visit visa with maximum duration of one year. The family visit visa can be extended before it expires too.
