About:Shanghai Travel

transport from Pudong Airport to downtown Shanghai and cheap hotel near subway or strategic location

Our flight reach Pudong Airport Terminal 1 around 8.30pm. We would like to reach hotel (not yet book) in downtown Shanghai fast. Which is the cheaper and yet convenient way to travel to downtown Shanghai at that time? How much is the fare per person?
What are the better and cheaper hotel near subway in downtown shanghai or hotel near strategic location where transport by bus or subway to scenaric locations are available?

There is a branch of Home Inns Hotel near People Squre, which will be cheap and convenient. You can take the subway line 2 to reach the People Square Station and then take a taxi to reach No. 208 Chongqing North Road. For a standard room, it charges about 350 RMB per night. The subway line 2 make its transportation very convenient.
