from tiananmen best year courtyard hotel (wangfujing) to great wallming tombs

Question

Hi, I will b travelling from 17 Nov to 21 Nov and will be staying at Tiananmen best year courtyard hotel. Please advise how to I get to the great wall then to the Ming tombs and hw long wil be the travelling time? Would you recommend Ming tombs first then to the great wall? How is the temperature like during my period of travel? Which part or section of the great wall is recommeded? Many thanks in advance.

Badaling Great Wall is highly recommended. From your hotel, you can walk to Tiananmen Square East to take Bus No. 5, get off at Deshengmen and then take Bus No. 877, 919 or 880 to Badaling. It takes about 1.5 hours.  You can go to visit Ming Tombs after visiting the Great Wall. From Badaling to Ming Tombs, you can take the bus No. 919 or 880 from Badaling Station and get off at Ming Huang La Xiang Gong Nan Men Station (The Ming Dynasty Wax Museum South Gate), and take Changping bus No.314 and get off at Dingling Tomb (one of the thirteen Ming Tombs).Well, the weather during that time is a bit cold with a low temperature of about 0~10C. You need to take warm clothes like wool sweaters and overcoats or down jackets.
