Does need Original copy of Invitation letter to apply Chinese VISA?

Hi, I'm planning to VISA for a business visit and I have been received an Invitation letter with Chinese government approved red seal from my supplier by email. I just want to know whether it is OK to take a color print out of that invitation letter and submit VISA application forms?

I think the invitation letter should better be the original. Or you can contact the embassy directly if they accept copy of it.
