Climate in oct of Taipei

Hi, how is the weather in oct and november? Does it rain a lot and do we need to worry about typhoons? Also can we still go to the beach and swim? Thank you

Firstly, I'd like to tell you that the best traveling time in taiwan is from Oct. to Apr. in the next year. So you do make a good choice. The average temperature then could be about 20 C. Mild sunshine and a little humid air make your trip full of pleasure. Generally, Oct. is still among the typhoon season, but it won't bother you a lot since the typhoon season is from Jun. to Oct. Besides, it may rain a little. So you need pay attention to the weather forecast as you are outing.
By the way, it is OK to the beach and swim then. It is cool.
