Period of validity of an extended visa

Hello,
I came in China with a visa F 30days, my company extended my visa, on this last visa the period of validity is 3months but my company told me that when we renew a visa F it's valid for the same period than the previous visa, so mine would be valid only 30days. So how long is it valid ? 3 months or 30 days ?

I think you mean visa duration, the time period that you are allowed to stay in China, right? it is 30 days as your company told you. The visa validity here makes no sense because it is an extension when you are in China.
