About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA enter from Zhuhai and exit from Huanggang

Hello,

We are Indonesian passport holders with itinerary:

Macau - Shenzhen for 2 nights (via Zhuhai) - Hong Kong Airport (via Huanggang).

Is it possible to get visa on arrival in Zhuhai and exit from Huanggang?

Thanks in advance.

The truth is that you have to apply for both a Shenzhen Speical Zone visa and a Zhuhai Special zone visa on your arrival at the Gongbei Port and the entry port of Shenzhen, such as Luohu port. Not sure where you plan to enter Shenzhen from. Then no problem for your to exit Shenzhen from Huanggang.

Thanks for the quick reply!

It gets more confusing now, so we need BOTH Zhuhai Visa and Shenzhen Visa, even though they are both in P.R.China?

So they put an immigration barricade in the city border between Zhuhai and Shenzhen? Also between Shenzhen and Guangzhou?

If there is an official website covering this matter would be great.

The truth is that if you apply for a China visa from the China embassy or consulate-general in Indonesia before your trip, you won't need to apply for any Shenzhen visa or Zhuhai visa any more. The one China visa is enough for you.

However, you said that you plan to apply for on arrival visa when you reach Zhuhai. Then the thing will become complicated. Since an on-arrival visa at Zhuhai only permits you to stay within Zhuhai for less than three days. If you want to go to Shenzhen as well, you will also have to apply for a Shenzhen visa which is only valid for you to stay within Shenzhen for no more than 5 days, too.

To make it simple, I advise you apply for a China visa in your country in advance to smooth your trip and in case you will stay in Zhuhai or Shenzhen longer than the regulated period of time for an on-arrival visa.

Thanks for another quick reply.

We're so interested with visa on arrival because of the significantly cheaper fee.

Then we will enter Shenzhen via Hong Kong, it seems easier that way, although more complicated in terms of transportation.

Cheers!
