About:Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh

which section of the local government invitation letter they are asking for getting visa ?

Hi i have a queries ,one university has sent me invitation letter to go there and have research stuides ,but the embassy is asking for invitation letter from local government ,can you please clarify me which section of the local government invitation letter they are asking for getting visa ?Isnt that the invitation letter directly from the university is not enough for getting visa?I am very much confused

The invitation letter from the university is not enough for your visa application to China. You need the invitation letter issued by the foreign affairs office of the province where the inviter university located. So, contact the university first, they are responsible to handle this for you.
