About:China Visa

Will applying for a temporary residence permit affect my residency status back home in the UK?

I will be working in China for 9 months and so need to apply for a temporary residence permit. Would this have any effect on my permanent residency status at home or does that remain the same?

Chinese temporary residence permit will not affect your residency status in UK. This permit is only for long term (longer than 6 months) visa holders who study, work or live in China.
