About:Guangzhou Bus Stations

Bus to Chaozhou and Shantou

i would to travel from Guangzhou airport to Chaozhou and Santou by bus. Which is the most appropriate bus station to go to from airport and mode of transport? How frequent is the bus to Chaozhou & Santou and the duration of the journey? i would also like to know which city the bus will reach first, Chaozhou or Santou?

Well, you can take the airport shuttle bus line 8A to Tianhe Bus Sttaion. It takes about an hour and costs about CNY 15-20. There are many long-distance buses for Shantou and Chaozhou.
From Guangzhou to Chaozhou, the buses are scheduled from 06:30 to 17:40 every 15-30 minutes. It takes about 6 h.
From Guangzhou to Shantou, the buses are scheduled from 07:00 to 10:15 every 10-15 minutes. Also at 00:35 and 01:00, two buses are arranged. It takes about 6 h.
If you take a bus to Shantou having the stop of Chaoyang, Chaozhou, it does stop at Chaozhou first, then Shantou.
