Travel time from Sun Yat Sen Station to Airport?

How long does it take from Sun Yat Sen Memorial Station to Baiyun Airport? I need to catch a 7:55AM flight. What time does the subway line 2 start? Would I make it to the airport on time or would it be faster to just take the airport shuttle or taxi?

Hi, do you mean Sun Yat Sen Memorail Hall MTR Station? If so, it takes about 40-50 min by subway. And the earliest train of line 2 departs at 06:00. But you may catch it at 06:15 at Sun Yat Sen Memorail Station. Generally speaking, the subway would be on time. If you wanna take a shuttle bus, there is actually no direct shuttle bus. And a taxi may take about 35 min there.

Anyway, since your flight would depart at 07:55 and you have to spend some time on the boarding check and the luggage check, you'd better get there in advance. Therefore, taxi might be the most reliable way.
