Badaling Great Wall Visit

I will be visiting the Badaling section of the Great Wall as part of the itinerary of the Essential 11 day trip to China. I wonder if you would recommend me bringing a walking stick with me ... or is that unnecessary? Is there a railing to hold on to when walking up and down? Is that section of the wall steep?
Thank you.

You can bring a walking stick with you when climbing the Great Wall. Well, there is also railing to hold on to when walking up and down. It is not so steep.
