Best Route to HK Diamon Hill Area during rush hour

Hi,

I need to visit my friend who live in Diamond Hill area. What is the best way to get there from airport ? From the journey planner, there will be three different interchange stations before I can get on the Kwun Tong line, I anticipate there will be challenges to fight though the crowd around 7pm Friday with my kids and luggage. Is there a way that I can take advantage of the shuttle to get close to Diamond Hill after airport express takes us over to Kowloon side ?
