What is the best time to visit the wall?

ok so I was thinking of visiting the great wall sometime this year so what is the best time to visit the wall.
Also what should I bring on the tour if I was gonna walk the whole 8000km

The best time to climb the Great Wall could be Spring and Autumn, March - May and September - October. During that time, the weather is good enough to visit and climb Great Wall.
