Hi, it's about 1200 km (746 miles) from Chingqing to Changsha.
The best way depends on your demand, for money-saving or for time-saving. From Chongqing to Changsha, you can take a train or catch a plane. The former way takes about 20 h nad costs about CNY150 for hard seat, CNY 280 for hard sleeper and CNY 430 for soft sleeper. And the latter costs about CNY 650-860 and you can arrive at Changsha in about 1-1.5 h.
