About:Mount Jiuhua

Is it possible to travel directly from Huangshan (Taiping) to Jiuhua Shan ?

I heard that it takes 3h30 including the ferry boat to cross the lake, but could not find details on where you can start the journey and what time you should start it.

Don't worry! There is direct long-distance bus from Huangshan to Jiuhuashan. Since you wanna depart from Huangshan Scenic Area (Taiping), you can take the long-distance bus at Huangshan Bus Station close to Taiping. Only one bus is in operation each day departing at 06:10. It takes about 3 h there. And the ticket fare is about CNY 36.
Additionally, you can also take a bus at Huangshan General Bus Station in Huangshan City. It departs at 13:10 and costs about CNY 51.

Hi Nina, thank you for the response.
Actually, I will leave some stuff in Tangkou on the way up, so I will have to come back to Tangkou. I will catch a bus from there to Jinhuashan.
