Li river cruise and impression of liu san jie

Hi,i'm planning to enjoy the river cruise from guilin then watch the impression of liu san jie at the night..if i bring a lot of luggage is it possible to bring it at the cruise? Or will it be better if after the show is over i go back to gulin the same day?
