Torch Festival 2012: do you know the program and dates of the festival this year?

is it easy to find a last minute hotel or do we need to book in advance?
Also, how long is the trip from Xichang to Lugu lake?

The Torch Festival will be held on August 11, 2012. You'd better book a hotel in advance.
You can take bus from Xichang Long-distance Bus Station to Lugu Lake and it takes about 7 hours.
