Travel from pier to Shanghai city

how far is the city from the pier where ships dock? what kind of transportation do you take to get from the pier (ship) into the city?

Hi, do you mean Shanghai Wusong Passenger Transport Center? If so, you can take bus no. 51, 116, 522, 719, 728, 848, 849 or 952 there to Shanghai City.
And it's about 15 km or a little further from the downtown of Shanghai.
