You are required to provide document that entitle you to reside for an extended period of time in the SPR,WP,EP,STP,DP if you want to apply for China visa in Singapore. A single entry China visa is valid for 3 months from issue date, so you can apply in Canada if your stay in Singapore is shorter than this period of time. Fee is 75 Singapore dollars per visa under regular 4 working days processing.
