About:Chinese Embassy in Poland

I am dual national Polish/Croatian due to travel to Shanghai on 8/9 to join cruise ship as crew.

Please advise what type of visa to join the ship I need. I live near Gdansk. Can I make all formalities in Chinese Consulate there?

If you will join cruise ship as crew, you can apply for a Crew C with a company letter or invitation letter. If you have no such letter, you can try to apply for a tourist L instead.
If you live near Gdansk, you can submit your application to Consulate-General of PRC in Gdansk.
