SHOULD YOUR SPONSOR BE YOUR REAL FATHER?

Please I want more clarification on this assertion.
I want to know per one of the requirements, who actually have to sponsor you? Should it be your REAL father or a Guardian who will provide proof of his support by providing his bank statement(valid for six months), Sponsorship letter, ID or passport (attested at court)? Have the rule changed that the bank statement should be in your father's name? I don't understand, someone help me please. And I learned also that, NOW the student have to also provide his/her bank statement as well. If true, how much must I have in my account. Thanks

Actually, a Personal bank account statement of your father or your guardian are both ok for Student visa application if you are being sponsored. One of yourself is not required.
