is it possible to visit the golden temple and the yuantong temple in one afternoon?

There is a little bit far between the two sites. The Golden temple is on the Mount Mingfeng and the Yuangtong Temple is in the center of Kunming. If you want to visit the two places in one afternoon, it will be in a rush.0
