About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Getting a visa to work in China while living in Taiwan?

I am a Canadian citizen and I will be moving to Shanghai next month for employment but I have been a resident in Taipei, Taiwan for awhile. Can I apply from Taiwan or must I travel to Hong Kong to do so? Also for the health check, can I just take the document from this website and get a check in Taiwan or must it also be in Hong Kong/China?

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to apply for a China visa from HK through a travel agency. Just send all required documents to them if you do not want to go in person. As I know, you do not need a health check done before applying the Z visa. So, better contact a travel agency for the latest inforation.

Hello Karim , I am wondering how you applied for the viza z , did you apply in hongkong ? was it possible ?
