About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Greetings, I want to apply Visa for China for a conference!

Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm an undergraduate from a state university and I was invited to present my research paper in a IEEE conference in China, hence I want to apply for Chinese Visa. Can you please elaborate on the requirements and the process? Do I need to produce financial records as well?

For this purpose, you need to apply for a business visa. Invitation letter is required. Other documents needed are your passport, application form and photo. Sometimes, you may be required as well by visa officers the return ticket, hotel reservation and bank statements. SO, you'd better prepare them in advance. The processing takes 4 working days and it can be done in shorter time if you pay extra money for their rush or express service.
