About:Chinese Embassy in Slovak Republic

Which application do I need for visiting a friend for 1 week?

Hello, I am a Slovak citizen living in the UK, I would like to go visit my friend that lives there, I would like to know which application do I need to fill in and what documents to provide in order to gain the visa (I know that I will need an invitation letter, flights reservation, insurance policy and bank statement - is there anything else I need to provide)? Can I send the application to Chinese Embassy in London in order to be processed?

You can apply for a tourist L to China. If you want to apply in UK, you may need to provide the original and a copy of permanent residence or work permit with validity for at least half a year, unless you are permit exempt for residing or working there. For application itself, you need to check the consular district first. CVASC in London accepts application by post.
