About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

I have read that the advertised "free internet for all" does not actually work?

Some travellers have written recently that the page that comes up for free internet use is in Chinese therefore unless you can read Chinese you can't actually access the internet. Can anyone confirm or deny this please as we have 7 hours enroute then 5 hours returning to kill as international travellers not leaving the airport? Sounding very tedious.... Thank you in advance!
