getting chinese student visa in macau for uzbekistan citizens?

Question

I have read information that citizens of 33 countries can not apply for chinese visa in HK and Macau since Beijing 2008 . Is this rule still in effect ? I am citizen of Uzbekistan and  I want to go Macau and get Student visa in Macau ? after reading that information I am confused now , Pls give me some advice . Thanks in advance

It's hard to say whether it is still in effect now, since the visa policy is always changing along with the national and  international situation. To make sure that you will have the student visa, I advise you apply for it from the embassy or consulate of China in your home country in advance.
