is it safe to travel to guangzhau in july.will there be a thunderstorm everyday i afraid

I was in Guangzhou last week, sometimes it has some drizzles but not thunderstorm. On June 30th AirAsia delayed its flights for Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen but not Guangzhou, due to thunderstorm and strong wind that hit the three cities. So I think it is quite safe to travel to Guangzhou in July.

It is safe here. Only sometimes rainy heavily but for a short time.
