Yes, there are many other Halal restaurants in Guangzhou and it is easily accessable. Here is my advice for your reference:
1. Shache Halal Food, NO. 43, Guangta Road, Yuexiu District;
2. Muslim Hotel, No. 325, Zhongshanliulu, Yuexiu District

Besides lamian shops, you can find many halal Muslim food in Guangzhou. Please be careful about the term halal in China, because some restaurants are also serving beer and wine, which to Malaysians are not acceptable for a halal term for a restaurant. You can go to Huanshi Zhong Lu where there are Yemeni, Iraqi, Chinese and Indian food. The best biryani in town would be at Uncle Cafe. You may drop to taste Chinese Food at al-Salam which is adjacent to New Don Franc Hotel, Xiaobei.
