No Chinese Embassy or consulate where I live

I'm trying to Obtain a Z visa, but there is no Chinese Embassy or Consulate where I live and the application instructions say I must turn in my application in person. So, What do I do to obtain a Visa if I can't turn in an application? Is there another way?

You can check from the homepage of Chinese embassy/consulates in USA on this site, and their consular districts. As I know, visa application can be done by someone else entrusted in most cases.
