About:China Visa Application in USA

I live in Austin Texas. Can I apply by mail

Do I have to come to Houston to apply if I do can I apply and leave
Can my passport be mailed with visa?

Yes, you need to go to Houston in person or entrust someone to apply on your behalf. Mail service is not available.
