About:Hohhot Weather

July or August to visit Hohhot?

Hi, is it better to visit hohot in July or August in terms of rain, hot temperature, grassland all green in these 2 months? which month can still see flowers? Which grassland is better? Xilamuren or Huitengxile , seems most tour groups visit Xilamuren but Hitengxile seems more scenic?

Considering about the rain, temperature plus grassland scenic, August may be the best time for you to go. Then temperature is about 15~25C during that time which make you feel cool and pleasant.
Xilamuren Grassland is highly recommended. It is a typical altiplano prairie, with exuberant grass and vigorous wildflowers in August.
