apply for chinese passport for child under 16

Question

I am a Chinese citizen. My daughter (7 years old) was born here in USA. I am going back to Beijing where I havehu kou. How do I apply for Chinese passport for my daughter so she can apply for Beijing Hu kou when she is back with me.Thank you very much for your help.

Was your daughter born in Beijing?  Was her birth certificate issued in Beijing? If so you can apply for a Chinese passport for her from the China emabssy or consulate-general in your living place with the following documents:1. passport application form that should be truly and completely filled2. 4 passport standard photos taken recently3. her birth certificate4. her residence permit in US
