About:China Visa

Residence Permit and Employment Permit - Z Visa

Hi! i'm currently holding my Z visa issued in my country, Indonesia. I arrived in shanghai on May 26th, 2012. Today i just got my health certificate. I know i have to apply for employment permit and residence permit within 30 days since i entered China. Now, it's already June 21th, 2012 and on June 22nd til June 24th is the holiday season so i can't apply within that days. My questions are:
1. Can i still apply for employment permit and residence permit? because as you know, i only have 2 more days to go. Is it okay?
2. Will i be fined for that?
3. For further information, i am the first foreigner working in my company now. Is there any spoecial requirement for that?
4. Can i go there by myself?

You have already got Z visa in Indonesia. So as my understanding, you have Employment Permit of Aliens issued by the Labour and Social Security Department. You need just apply for a residence permit in person from local PSB. Documents needed are:
1. The official letter issued by your company;
2. Completed Residence Permit Application Form;
3. One latest photo;
4. The original and copy of valid passport, Chinese visa and entry seal;
5. The original and copy of Health Certificate;
6. Employment Permit and Enterprise Approval Certificate of your company.
You'd better apply on 25th June Monday by using rush service if possible.
