For tourist visa to China, you need to join a tour group of a qualified travel agency with more than 5 persons. The agency is capable to send you the required invitation letter and travel itinerary. Basic documents needed are your passport, application form, photo, return ticket, hotel reservation and bank statement that sufficient to cover your travel expenditure in China.
