rush f visa for french citizen possible ?

Hi, I'm supposed to go to China on the 4th of july for business & consulting meeting, as an employee of a Hong Kong based company. I got all the documents required, the problem is that it seems they don't propose the rush 1 day visa processing for french citizens anymore for tourist visa. Question is if it's a business F visa will i be able to get it in day ?I'm in Thailand now, flying off to Cook islands on the sat. 23rd, and only coming back to Bangkok on the 3rd of july so one day only before my meeting in China the 4th. If I prove them that I don't have more than a day with my Cook Islands flights details will it help ?ThanksJim

you can apply now from Chinese embassy in Bangkok before leaving for Cook island using their rush/express service. If possible, to apply through a travel agency may be better. Note as well that the consular section of the Chinese Embassy will close to the Public on June 22nd, 2012 for Chinese holiday.
