About:Chinese Embassy in Indonesia

I am a Canadian citizen living in Bali, Indonesia. Can I apply for a visa online?

I am a Canadian citizen living in Bali, Indonesia. Can I apply for a visa online? And send the passport to Jakarta?
For tourism purpose, do I need to have a contact person in China?

Actually, you need to apply at the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Surabaya. Online application is not available. You may apply in person or entrust others.

You need the following documents:
1. your passport with a validity of 6 months and enough blank pages;
2. visa application form: V2011A and V2011B; with your recent photo on it;
3. your resident permit in Canada.

There is no need of contact person in China.
