haw to get a confirmed chineese invitation

I dont understand what you really mean you have a resident permit in china but you need an invitation letter thats impossible because if you have a chinese resident permit if its expired you have to renew it if not you can go to china with it. no need of any invitation letter . if the embassy say so you have to ask from the embassy in your country and get more information's .
