Irish passport - living in france - visa application

Hi,
I'm Irish (with irish passport) living in France. I will be traveling home to Ireland at the begining of July for 3 weeks, and intend on going to China (with my french husband) at the end of july straight after returning to France.
My husband is on his third trip already has his multi entry visa.

As i will need my passport to fly home to ireland, can i apply for my visa while in Ireland?
It will be difficult to do it here in france befor going to ireland as our itinerary is not yet finalised.....

If it is possible for me to apply for my visa in ireland, do i need income justification (required for application in france)?

Are there any other problems i may encounter?

Yes, you can apply in Ireland of course. I have not heard that there need a income justification.
