About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

What is the best way to get a visa before June 30, 2012? I live in Montreal, Canada.

My family lives in Montreal and is planning to visit from Korea in July.
My husband and I are Korean citizens, my son is US citizen and my daughter is Canadian.

1.What is the best way to get visas before June 30?
2. In order to apply a visa, do I need to have airplane tickets or hotel info for the trip?
3. If I come to China Embassy in Ottawa in person and apply for 1 day service, the can I pick it up at the same day?

1. Four working days are needed for regular visa application processing. You still got time to apply through regular application processing.

If you want to obtain visa faster, you can apply for Rush (same day) or Express (second or third working day) services respectively.

2. Yes, unless you have Invitation letter from a Chinese organization or a permanent resident in China, then air ticket booking record (round trip) and hotel reservation are needed. Other needed documents are as following:
(1) An original copy of passport with enough blank visa pages, valid for at least another 6 months.
(2) A fully completed copy of Visa Application Form(except your daughter, you all need V2011A and V2011B; your daughter only needs V2011A)
(3)The photo attached to the visa application form must be a color passport photo taken within 6 months (full face, front view and against a white background).
You can check whether you have all the required documents according to the above list.

For rush service, you should be submitted prior to 11 a.m., and you will get visa on the same day.

Good luck!
